The olive grove

Established seven years ago, the olive grove has several hundred trees, mostly manzanilla and frantoia. The months of June and July are harvest time and there are opportunities to be involved for those who are interested. There are views to the Tararuas and you can walk to the Ruamahanga River bordering the back of the property. The nineteen acre property includes a small vineyard with the first harvest in March and April 2009. One and a half hours from Wellington, ten minutes from central Masterton and forty five minutes from Martinborough, this property has the advantage of both easy city access and the rural environment.
